Pet Reiki

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle energy practice that works with the pet’s energy to encourage balance and relaxation. Reiki can be done either virtually or in-person via physical touch or hovering the hands above the body. While Reiki energy is being delivered, pets simply relax, enjoying the loving, high vibrational nature of Reiki energy.

On my own dog, Coors, I use Reiki to soothe his anxiety, which creates a stronger sense of peace in his life. As an active agility dog, Coors benefits from the supportive nature of Reiki energy to any places where he might feel sore or stiff after competing or to give him a boost of energy beforehand.

Reiki can be helpful for:

  • Reducing Stress
  • Soothing Anxiety
  • Promoting Overall Well-Being
  • Supporting the body’s natural healing abilities after surgery, dealing with sprains, etc…
  • Reducing pain from issues like arthritis, hip dysplasia etc…
  • Buoying the spirit after grief or change in mood/behavior
  • Increasing Energy & Focus to help with agility competition, scent work etc…
